This evening I took some time out from working on the new site, to make a few changes to this one. I’ve added a links page and reorganized some of the genealogy pages to make them a little easier to navigate. I’m toying with the idea of moving this site to another provider where I can use PHP and MySql. I’d love to have a database serving the genealogy data and photo galleries, rather than building all the pages by hand!

The work on infusedphoto.com is going a little slower now that I’m coding all of the administration pages. The database design and code for the user screens is 100% complete. Having at least some basic admin pages will make it much easier for me, so I need to finish them before I move the site to production.

Last night we got back from a great three-day weekend in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico with Monica’s family. Of course, I’ll be posting the pictures here in the near future. Sorry about the very brief updates lately, but I haven’t had much time. Hopefully I’ll have more time to write a little more after I finish the development of the new site because I really need to add decent captions to all the photos. I don’t even want to think about that. Ack!

I managed to add another gallery tonight titled The Portland Spirit. These pictures were taken back in August when Monica’s family was up here visiting. There are now a total of 845 photos online.
