The weather was beautiful on Saturday at the coast. In the morning we hiked to Cape Disappointment and I shot about 250 photos of the lighthouse and environs. I’ll probably share some of the photos on this site in the future, but most will likely go into my stock portfolio. That’s the only time I used the camera this weekend, as I just wanted to relax and lugging 25 lbs of camera gear doesn’t make for a very relaxing time. We spent the rest of the day laying on the beach napping and listening to the ocean. The wind was really light, and it was warm enough that just light fleece jackets kept us warm out there all day.
The new air intake really made a difference while towing the trailer. I could actually let the transmission go into overdrive on level terrain with no problem. Now, I’m sure the headers and new exhaust will make a huge difference when they’re installed later this week.
I framed up my first professional quality panoramic print this evening. It’s a panorama of Guanajuato that I created while in Mexico during Christmas last year. More about it later…
