Some good news and bad news. The good news is that the PDFLib functionality has been restored. The bad news is that the new version is no longer Open Source and now it puts a huge ugly watermark diagonally across each page. Luckily I found a new PHP based PDF library called FPDF that doesn’t have to be compiled into the PHP code. I’ll be converting the scripts to use the new PDF code over the next couple of evenings.

Almost forgot to mention some exciting news. I pre-ordered the new Canon 10D to replace my old Canon D30. I heard from ssdonline yesterday regarding my order status. It turns out that I should be receiving it sometime next week. As of yesterday I was number 39 on the list and they were expecting the get at least 24 in today. It’s possible that they’ll ship mine this week, but no later than early next week!

My ISP had to rebuild the server that hosts this site and they downgraded to an older version of php. Consequently, the PDF feature on the genealogy pages is not working right now. I’ve opened a trouble ticket to get it fixed, but I don’t have any ETA right now.
