I ordered a new printer and am expecting to receive it next week. The printer is a Canon S9000, which I will be using to make black & white piezography prints.

I’m also working on scanning a lot of old travel photos which I plan on uploading to the photo galleries over the next few weeks.

Ged2csv 2.5 released today. This version included the new MySQL upload utility that I’ve been working on the last few weeks. The help files have not been completely updated yet, but the new functionality should be pretty self-explanatory. I’ll have the help system completely done by the next release.

The work on the data upload feature in the next version of ged2csv is coming along nicely. I’ve still got quite a lot of coding and testing to do, but it should be ready fairly soon.

Added a commenting system to the genealogy family pages. You can now submit a comment on any individual in the database. The comments are only viewable after I have reviewed each of them. I will recieve an email when a comment is recieved. Once I review the comment for appropriatenesss I will mark it as viewable.

Since I had to rewrite the family_pdf script, I decided to create a PDF generator for pedigree pages as well. I’m now selling both the PDF generators as “phpGene PDF Generator” for $10.00 (US).

Update 2/10/05: This PDF generator is no longer offered for sale, but it is available free as part of my open source Retrospect-GDS project.
