Saturdays are the best day of the week. Slept in a little late and then got up and played WOW for a little while. Helped Marlyse out with getting Retrospect-GDS working on her site. Chatted for a while with Ioan, who is on vacation in Romania. Now were off to the Nike employee store and some lunch.

On another note: I’ve gotten the exchange from myRoots on the Palm to RetrospectGDS on the web smoothly running. But what I haven’t managed is to integrate Retrospect seamlessly into WP as you have. I’ve followed your step-by-step posting, but still no go. At this point I assume the problem is because I was trying to do it via (virtual) Pages. I also didn’t really understand why you setup a virtual directory to be used and not ‘the real thing’. Anyways, if you get bored, you can read up on the problem here and here. Maybe this problem tickles your interest…
Right now I’m usually playing on Stormscale with my (currently) level 24 undead warrior Darkdog.
I installed into a directory called /retrospect but the genealogy stuff displays in Wordpress under /genealogy because that is the name of the Wordpress page I created. You must be using the permalinks in Wordpress for this to work.
I often wish I wouldn’t be on Silver Hand - sometimes it seems to be the server with the highest population, but then again, all servers have their share :) - Rheelah, my night elven huntress, just turned 44 with skinning skills at 297 and leatherworking getting there too (she is way more fun that her older sister, human mage, who has gained so much rested state due to sitting idle around at the inn, that she’s beginning to turn green). Ohh, I am so proud of Rheelah and her pet Raah, playing since early alpha/beta but never managed to get a character much higher :P
In regards to the integration of Retrospect, I’ll try one more time to figure it out by myself, but I might ping you one of these days with some additional questions; from what you say it seems that you are using pages with your installment and so far I had problems in this regards when pointing to directories outside of the WP directory…
Level 44 sure seems like a long way off! I just got DarkDog up to level 27 yesterday though, so he’ll get there eventually. I kind of wish I hadn’t created a warrior though, as they really seem to be the underpowered class. Or maybe I should have just named him DarkUnderdog.
