I wrote a importer using dbf to move a large set of tables into oracle for a rails
app. So Far everything is workng good. (Of course the 20 years worth of dbase
tables have some very &quot;invalid&quot; field names, but my importer is handling the 
conversion of those.</description>

I found oh that returning the &quot;column&quot; names in uppercase seems to confuse rails.
So a quick hack to force lowercase, and everything seems to be happy.</description>
