We’re going to see Paul Oakenfold at the Crystal Ballroom tonight. We saw Paul live at Amnesia when we were in Spain a couple of years ago. I never expected to see him come to Portland!
I think about 20 of our friends are going, so it should be a great time.
Went to see Ozomatli and State Radio at the Roseland with a bunch of friends last night. I like a couple of Ozomatli songs, and have one of their albums, but despite their energy I just couldn’t get into the groove. Not my thing I guess. On the other hand, I really liked State Radio and am going to buy a couple of the CD from their site.
I bought a copy of Better Than Ezra’s latest CD on iTunes this morning. It’s a great album and is much closer in style to their first album Closer, than to their last couple. I’ve always loved Better Than Ezra and I still remember singing along at the top of my lungs to Rosalia when they played at the Salem Amphitheater. Good music makes me happy.
I cobbled together a “<a href=”http://www.infused.org/music/”>what I’m listening to</a>â€? page in about 20 minutes over lunch. It shows the 10 most recent songs I’ve listened to in iTunes. It’s “mostlyâ€? live data. It refreshes every 15 minutes or so.
These 15 songs represent the cream of the crop of the music I listen to when I need to concentrate. These are especially helpful during coding sessions.
