I just got confirmation that one of my photos is included in Texas State University’s latest Study Abroad brochure for the College of Liberal Arts. I was contacted by the University to get permission to use the photo a couple of months ago, but I had forgotten about it until yesterday when I received some copies of the brochure.

The photo is of the basilica in Guanajuato, Mexico and is located at the top center of page 2. You can see this photo better in my photo gallery.

Another one of my photos is due to be published in Splendid Pathways: A Tour Through the World's Finest Botanical Gardens, although I haven’t got confirmation that it made it through the editing process.

It’s a small thing, but cool.

NYC Photos

August 22nd, 2005

I should have brought my wide-angle lens with me to NY, but alas, I did not. Due to narrowness of the streets in relationship to the hugeness of everything else it was really hard to get good pictures. So, I present this tiny photo album for your amusement.

Photos, CDs, and DVDs Oh My

June 9th, 2005

The last of the Kauai photos has been added to the Kauai photo gallery tonight. I also burned a CD with all the photos for our Kauai decompression party tomorrow night. While I was at it I created a cool slideshow in iPhoto with a cool Iz song playing in the background. iPhoto lets you export to iDVD, so I tried that out and now I have a DVD which I can take to the party. No need to bring the Powerbook. Slick.

More Photos From Kauai

June 9th, 2005

I uploaded more photos from Kauai early this morning. I just realized that they weren’t showing up. I’m not sure why the site hasn’t refreshed, but I cleared out the Flickr plug-in cache and voila.

Waimea Canyon Photos

June 7th, 2005

I just uploaded a set of photos of Waimea Canyon, from our recent trip to Kauai. We drove up to Waimea Canyon on our first full day on the island and did some sightseeing and hiking. Even though they’re good, I really don’t think that these photos do the beauty of the canyon justice. You really have to experience it first hand.

I have another batch of photos ready to go too, but searching by tags in Flickr is disabled right now (at least within the Organizer), so it would make it difficult to sort the photo into albums. I’ll upload them tomorrow as long as they get the search problem taken fixed.
